While this is the recommended bean for Bosnian/ Turkish coffee, we prefer medium to dark roasts for regular drip coffee. But to each their own! 

The traditional bean for Bosnian/ Turkish coffee:

  1. We suggest ordering whole bean and grinding just before use. Espresso grind will not suffice for Bosnian/ Turkish coffee.
  2. We have a list of recommended grinders — all capable of getting the quality grind that is so important for the perfect cup of kafa (coffee). Very few home grinders can produce Turkish grind.

This is a well balanced natural process Ethiopian coffee. Coffea Arabica is known as the “queen” of coffee. The beans are cultivated in high altitudes with a preferred climate.

This coffee makes a very bright cup with fruity hints of blueberry and a nice sweetness that you expect from Ethiopian coffee.

Grower: Smallholder farmers from thee Sidama zone.

Process: Full natural, sorted by hand.  Dried on raised beds.
